Version used

If you want to find out which version of ISPadmin you are currently using, take a look at the text to the right of the logo. See the following image:

In this case, version 5.10 beta 1 is installed.

Latest available version

If you want to find out what the latest available stable/beta version is, take a look at the text to the right of the logo. See the following image:

In this case, the system informs you of the fact that the latest stable version is 5.09 and the latest beta version is 5.10 beta 1.

How to perform upgrade

  • Connect to your ISPadmin via SSH.
  • If you want the upgrade-related instructions to be displayed, use the ispadmin_update command.
  • If you want to perform upgrade, use one of the following commands:
    • ispadmin_update stable (upgrade to the latest stable version)
    • ispadmin_update beta (upgrade to the latest beta version)
  • The upgrade script is launched. It automatically downloads and installs the latest stable/beta version. The process usually takes only a few minutes (depending on the number of clients in the system and server performance).
  • Wait for the process to finish. If the process does not complete successfully, this may lead to system errors.
  • If the upgrade process does not complete successfully or if there are errors in the system after upgrade, try upgrading one more time.

You can find more information on the version used in the Clients / Home tab. See the following image:

In the Installed item, installation date and time are shown. In the Build item, the release date and time of the currently used build are shown. There are usually several builds within a single version. If you upgrade to the same version, the latest build is installed.
