In the Clients / Contacts tab, there is an overview of all active clients.
Active clients are clients on whose data you can perform various actions: You can add, edit and delete their personal information, services, contracts, invoices, Inventory items, service jobs, etc.
These clients are included in the number of currently used licenses.
If, for one reason or other, you do not need to perform any such actions, you can move such a client to the Deactivated clients category.
You can do that in their Client card, specifically in the Delete client tab, by clicking on the Deactivate button.
Deactivated clients are not included in the number of currently used licenses.
A list of all deactivated clients can be found in the Statistics / Deactivated clients tab.
Most of the actions that are allowed in the case of active clients are not permitted in the case of deactivated clients.
You can view saved data or delete (some of) it. Automatic matching of payments with invoices is possible, too.
However, you cannot add any new information, services, contracts, invoices, Inventory items, service jobs, photos, etc. You cannot edit anything, either.
If you consider moving one of your clients to Deactivated clients, you should take these restrictions into account.
If the restrictions do not present a problem, you can continue with the deactivation process.
If they do, it means that a given client does not belong to Deactivated clients. Such a client has to stay in the Active clients category.
If you deactivate a client with active services, these services will be deleted in the process. You can view them afterwards in the list of deleted services.
You can restore a deactivated client. To do that, use the Restore client button in their Client card.
You can also delete a deactivated client from the system. To do that, use the corresponding Delete button in the overview in the Statistics / Deactivated clients tab.
